Wet Blasting:
Start with Outlet Pipe (1.27 cm) 1/2 inch above locked position, and adjust in (1.58 cm) 1/16 inch increments until media runs out before water. Courser media will require a higher Outlet Pipe setting.
Dry Blasting:
Start with outlet pipe (0,952 cm) 3/8 inch above locked position and adjust in (0.158cm) 1/16 inch increments until you reach the desired productivity to use ratio. Setting will be closer to (0.317cm) 1/8 inch for fine media and up to (1.905cm) 3/4 inch for course media.
Dustless Blasting can be used wet or dry with a wide variety of abrasive types. The Abrasive Lever setting will need to change depending on the blast media you are using, and weather you’re using the machine wet or dry.
The abrasive knob is what “sets” the abrasive lever to a specific height, and the height of the abrasive knob correlates directly with the height of the outlet pipe, which runs down through the center of the machine and meets the air inlet jet. The larger the gap between the air inlet jet and the outlet pipe, the more abrasive gets sucked up. You want the machine to run out of media before running out of water, so adjust it in (0.158cm) 1/16th inch increments until that is achieved. The video above should help you understand the process.
